Rental conditions

TAXES 19 % will be added to the prices indicated in the grid (GST, QST and Taxe on Lodging).
DEPOSIT A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total booking amount is required at the time of reservation to secure your stay.
IMPORTANT Payment of the deposit indicates your agreement to the rental terms and conditions, as well as your commitment to adhere to all rules outlined below.
BALANCE The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to your scheduled arrival date. A payment request will be sent to you via email for settlement.
CANCELLATION POLICY Should you need to cancel your reservation at least 60 days prior to your arrival, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
PAYMENT We accept Visa or MasterCard credit card payments. An electronic invoice will be issued for online payment convenience.
PHOTO ID For security purposes, a copy of the photo ID of the credit card holder used for the reservation must be provided via text message to 418 392-9688 or by email to info@cascapedialodge.com. The provided photo ID should display the cardholder’s address.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT A pre-authorization of $ 1,000 will be required on your credit card on the day of your arrival as a security deposit. If damage is caused, cleaning fees are required, or if rules are not followed, all or part of the security deposit may be retained without notice. If everything is in order, the security deposit will be automatically released 7 days after your arrival.

In the case of significant damage, the amount of the security deposit refund will be reduced by an amount equivalent to the damages caused. If the security deposit is not sufficient to cover the costs of damages and/or to restore the chalet to the same condition as upon arrival, the tenant agrees to pay the difference upon receipt of the invoice.

Additional cleaning fees will be deducted from the security deposit if the chalet is not left in the same condition as upon arrival, except for washing the bedding. Before leaving the chalet, you must wash any dirty dishes, start the dishwasher, take out the garbage in the appropriate bins outside, and pick up any trash left on the outdoor property during your stay.

SPA (HOT TUB) The tenant and their guests must abide by the following regulations:

  • It is recommended to take a shower before using a spa (hot tub).
  • After use, the hot tub cover must be replaced for safety and energy conservation.
  • Glass containers and food are not allowed in the spa.
  • The maximum user capacity must be respected to prevent water loss, which could lead to skimmer malfunction and subsequent pump and heating system shutdown.
  • Gestion BJL (2021) inc. bears no liability for accidents, injuries, or drowning incidents.
  • Failure to comply with regulations or misuse resulting in poor hot tub condition will incur a $200 emergency draining fee deducted from the security deposit.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT Check-in time begins at 4 PM via self-service, and check-out must be completed by 11 AM. Non authorized late check-out may incur a $100 fee deducted from the security deposit.

For early arrival or late departure requests, please contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled arrival to confirm availability. Subject to availability, early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated at no additional cost.

KEYS You will receive a digital code via email two days before your arrival.
MISC.

 

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cottages.
  • Pets are not permitted on the premises.
  • Occupancy limits must be observed.
  • Reservations are not accepted from individuals under 25 years old.
  • Events such as weddings are not allowed.
NOISE/CURFEW To comply with local regulations, a curfew is in place from 11 PM to 7 AM.

We kindly request that noise levels inside and outside the property remain low during this time for the comfort of all occupants and neighbors. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
